The Slovenia to Croatia Pass is a 3-day one-way tour that starts in Ljubljana in Slovenia and finishes in Split in Croatia. It really is a "natural beauties" tour that blows you away with how stunning the National Parks are in these regions of the Balkans.

From Ljubljana we travel directly to Bled to spend the entire day exploring this magical area of Slovenia: a mysterious island, a fairy-tale castle, horse-riding, boating, canyoning, this town in Slovenia's Triglav National Park has everything.

The next day is spent in Plitvice National Park - the most breathtaking lakes and waterfalls network in Europe.

Finally, the last day we head down to Krka Waterfalls, another Croatian gem and a chance to actually swim in a waterfall plunge pool! We arrive in Split late afternoon.

A feast for the eyes: canyons, castles, islands, rapids, lakes and mountains - this tour has it all!

Wednesday: LJUBLJANA – BLED - RIJEKA

Board the mini-bus and depart Ljubljana at 8.30am. We head north from Ljubljana to Bled to start the road trip with some seriously stunning mountain scenery.

There are lots of options in Bled: you can explore the town, lake and island yourself or take one of the optional excursions that include canyoning, horse-riding and cycle-hire.
After a full day in Bled we head for Croatia and overnight in Rijeka. This city is a truly Croatian experience as it is not a tourist resort town. However, nearby Opatija also offers great options for nightlife. Overnight in Rijeka.

Thursday: RIJEKA - PLITVICE

After breakfast we set off at 9am, heading inland to Plitvice Lakes.

Plitvice is the prize jewel in Croatia's impressive array of National Parks and is rated one of the top natural attractions in Europe. With its turquoise lakes - all linked by a series of beautiful cascades and waterfalls - it's easy to understand why. We arrive late morning and stay 5 hours in the park, with the walking schedule broken up by lunch, a boat trip, and a road train back to the starting point.

Overnight in bungalows close to the park entrance.


Friday: PLITVICE - KRKA - SPLIT

After breakfast we head for another treat: Krka National Park, which features something that is not allowed in Plitvice - the chance to swim in one of the cascade's plunge pools!

Arrive Split early evening for dinner and maybe a few celebratory drinks. Your tour may or may not end here as you might be boarding a Sail Croatia the next day or just taking a flight home.
